ABOUT

Alexa Rae Ardito, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

I have a deep commitment to helping individuals cultivate healthy relationships with food and their bodies. My own journey through recovery from an eating disorder sparked a passion for guiding others through similar challenges. With a wealth of experience working with pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations, I specialize in supporting individuals struggling with eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID, binge eating disorder, exercise disorders, and disordered eating behaviors.

I utilize Family Based Treatment (FBT), an evidence-based approach, to effectively address eating disorders in individuals aged 10 and older. I work closely with both clients and their families, collaborating with the entire healthcare team to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to recovery.

In addition to my specialization in eating disorders, I am passionate about sports nutrition and work with athletes to optimize their performance through balanced nutrition. As an avid long distance runner and strength training enthusiast, I understand firsthand the importance of fueling the body for peak performance. I help athletes reach their fitness goals while maintaining overall well-being and supporting their nutritional needs throughout training and recovery.

My mission is to empower individuals by providing personalized nutrition care tailored to their unique needs and goals. Whether you are recovering from an eating disorder or striving to improve your athletic performance, I offer evidence-based guidance and compassionate support to help you achieve lasting, sustainable wellness.
